National Academy
National Academy (NLA) being added to our current structure and level of play is built to develop players at the highest level and compete in many of the current National leagues constructed by US Youth Soccer and US Club. The requirements for coaching, level of play, and collaborative development decisions will be what differentiates NLA from our traditional Kolping “color” structure.
A top tier development plan that will allow our teams, players, and coaches to compete at any level needed. The development plan is built with a purpose of pushing our teams and players past the state level and beyond to the multiple different options at the National Level.
For almost a century (1931) Kolping has served our surrounding communities providing what our country now labels as Club Soccer. Promoting growth not only as a player on the field but a human being in the bigger game of life. Fostering integrity, work ethic, and leadership to equip our players with the tools they need to succeed in life.
Many things have changed in the world of club soccer in the last 2 decades. One of those most notable things being the “cost of entry”. The traveling, the monthly payments, the extra training, league fees, and even facility fees have all continued to rise. Kolping SC has stood it’s ground in making sure we do what we set out to do all those years back. Adding NLA gives us another option at the highest level that we can make affordable for ALL players. There are many factors to how we go about this. Facility ownership, Club Events and most of all a conscious mindset to do everything we can to not price gauge like every other element in Club Soccer has seemed to follow.
Kolping SC is rooted in Family, Tradition, and the simple love of the sport. NLA is just another step to allow our Families, Players, Coaches, and Team’s to compete at the highest level possible.
Starting from Kolping’s Color structure (Gray, White, Black, Orange) our staff begins evaluating player development. This being what we call a Player ID. Each player carries their own individual ID that our Staff is responsible for developing.
NLA puts a bigger significance on this Player ID due to not being just a coach responsibility but the responsibility of the entire NLA Staff.
Our current FCC Club Partner Program also allows us to have a direct line to FCC Academy directors for the integration of their Youth Academy when needed.
